Founded in 1947 by his father and uncle, Jim has been with the family business for more than 50 years. His favorite part of the job is the challenges that come with it. His strong work ethic and strategic thinking, combined with his ability to learn and understand all aspects of the marine industry, have made him an effective leader in an industry that has seen dramatic changes over the last half-century. He is described as being patient, optimistic, and proactive. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, spending time with his family. Jim is deeply involved in the community, serving on the boards of many nonprofits over the years, with a focus on education, environment, the economy and marine industry issues.

Jed joined the company (formerly Whiticar Boat Works) in 2012, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in boat building, repair, and maintenance. His favorite part of the job is developing and implementing growth strategies as he evaluates performance and productivity, all while helping employees achieve their goals. His strong work ethic, commitment to customer service, marketing acumen, and software development skills have been a key part of the company’s successful growth. He is described as hard-working, passionate, and dignified. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife as well as volunteering with nonprofits that help improve our marine environment.
